Bourne leaflet drop today reminding residents how to report issues to police

Officers from the Bourne Neighbourhood Team are out and about in town today (Thurs) delivering leaflets reminding residents how they can report issues such as drug dealing and anti-social behaviour.

Stamford, Bourne and Deepings community policing inspector Rachel Blackwell told Bourne Nub News: "The untargeted leaflet drop, in some of the residential areas in Bourne, is designed to give those who don’t access social media or Lincs Alert an opportunity to report on matters affecting where they live."

Insp Blackwell said the leafleting ties in to the results of the recent police community survey - Bourne residents highlighted drugs and drug dealing and anti-social behaviour by groups of young people or adults as being of the most concern.

Insp Rachel Blackwell is using the survey information to shape local policing priorities.
