Bourne-based Hay Hampers has introduced a brand new hamper ‘Love Local Lincolnshire’ featuring food and drink from around the county.

Officially launched yesterday (Oct 1) on Lincolnshire Day, the £37.90 hamper with free UK delivery, contains only the best artisan products.

With one of the two Lincolnshire ales and the mature Cheddar truckle referencing Lincolnshire's proud association with bombers and the RAF, the hamper also contains Grantham gingerbread, a local delicacy that came close to extinction a few years ago.

There is also handmade vanilla fudge made in Deeping, honey from hives in Colsterworth and all butter granola from Lincoln itself.

Gabriele Da Re, Managing Director at Hay Hampers, said: ”With Brexit around the corner, we might feel we have no control on the bigger issues, so one thing we can do is to sustain our local community producers.

"This hamper demonstrates our passion for supporting local businesses and products, giving them the opportunity to sell both nationally and internationally through our hampers”.
