Navy veteran Chloe Toussaint is opening a brownie bar in Bourne, following the success of her online
business “Chloe’s Brownies”.
Originally from Grenada, Chloe moved to the UK 2011 & joined the Navy as a chef in 2013.
At the start of 2020, she launched Chloe’s Brownies. Initially baking brownies and other sweet treats for
postal deliveries, Chloe soon offered local bake sales showcasing limited edition flavours.
Since the easing of Covid restrictions, Chloe’s Brownies has been out on the road attending markets all over
the country, including Leeds and Peterborough.
With the growth experienced in her first eighteen months, it is no wonder Chloe has made the
decision to open a shop in Bourne.
“I’m so excited to set up Bourne’s first brownie bar.” she said.
“It’s something I can call my own, and the start of a new journey. It’ll be great to meet new people and
continue to supply gourmet bakes using Belgian chocolate, as well as a vegan range too.”
Chloe envisages the business growing and expanding, hopefully enabling her to hire young people from the

Located off Abbey Road, Chloe’s Brownies will offer premium brownies and luxury coffees on a
takeaway basis, all freshly made on site.
Chloe will be opening her doors to the public for the first
time on Saturday 14th August, from 10am.
Going forward, the shop will be open Saturday’s and
Sunday’s, 10am to 3pm.
There is limited parking, but customers can find additional parking located on Abbey Road or in Hereward Street Pay & Display.
